If the 'Modify' button is disabled when you try to set a stop-loss (SL) or take-profit (TP) for an existing order, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

Proximity to Current Price:
- Your stop-loss or take-profit levels might be set too close to the current market price.

Incorrect Side of the Current Price:
- You may have set these levels on the wrong side of the current market price.
Important Note for Short Positions (Sell Orders):
- Stop-Loss: Must be set higher than the current market price.
- Take-Profit: Must be set lower than the current market price.
Ensure that your stop-loss and take-profit levels are appropriately placed to enable the 'Modify' button and successfully update your order.
