Bonus: The bonus is the amount credited to your trading account when you meet our Bonus Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).
Active Bonus: The Active Bonus is the portion of the bonus that you can use (trade) at any given time. Your Active Bonus cannot exceed your Real Cash Balance.
Examples:
Example 1:
- You deposit $100 and receive a $30 bonus.
- Since your real balance ($100) is higher than the bonus amount, your Active Bonus equals the total bonus ($30).
- If you withdraw or lose more than $71, your Active Bonus starts to decrease.
- Withdrawing or losing more than $71 means your Real Cash Balance is less than $30 ($100 - $71).
- As a result, your Active Bonus will be less than the total bonus.
Example 2:
- You deposit $100 and receive a $30 bonus.
- You open a position with a current loss of $78.
- Your Real Cash Balance is now $22 ($100 - $78).
- Since your Real Cash Balance is now lower than your bonus, your Active Bonus becomes $22, and your Account Value (Equity) becomes $44.
Calculation: Net Deposits + Closed P&L + Open P&L + Active Bonus
$100 + 0 - $78 + $22 = $44
Example 3:
- Based on the previous example, your open trade loss of $78 results in an Active Bonus of $22 and an Account Value of $44.
- If the market moves in your favor, reducing your loss to less than $71, your Active Bonus is reinstated to $30.
- When your Real Cash Balance is higher than the bonus, the Active Bonus becomes equal to the total bonus.
- The same reinstatement occurs if you redeposit into your account.
Summary: As long as your Real Cash Balance is higher than the total bonus, the bonus remains active. Your Active Bonus adjusts based on your Real Cash Balance and trading activity, ensuring you always have a portion of the bonus available for trading.
